An interpretation of a kurinuki cup, this version has been thrown on the potters wheel and carved, refined and shaped in its leather hard stage to reveal its final form and create a lightweight vessel with an extraordinary texture. 

the outside of this cup is left unglazed to reveal the clay in its pure form and invite hands to explore the rough ridges and tactile richness of this vessel.
