Black Clay large Kurinuki Cup with flower foot.

Black clay, something I don’t usually have in my studio, but after many many requests it is back for a very small release of pieces. If there is anything you really like, it might be time to buy it as I don’t know when I will be working again with black clay. 

This tea bowl is a one of a kind vessel that I am so very happy about, I almost want to keep it for myself. 
It has the rough and unglazed outside while the inside of the cup is glazed clear for the convenience of its use and hygiene. But the true beauty lays under the bowl itself, as a carved flower is revealed in place of a foot ring, making this tea bowl the hero of the kurinuki bowl collection on offer here. 

This special teabowl holds approximately 300ml and measures 7.5cm tall by 9cm wide.
